Wanting to try this out but apparently you need a code for the new locations?

There is usually one sitting on Alba, just south of 34th in the mornings. Not sure what it's doing, but see it all the time on the way to work

You may not want to hear it, but the inconvenient truth is that you're actually more likely to die or get seriously injured driving yourself or riding with another human driver than hopping onto a Waymo. Because Waymo has never directly killed or seriously injured anybody over a decade and millions of miles.
🚨#BREAKING: Multiple self-driving Waymo cars, collectively worth upwards of $600,000 each have been destroyed and light on fire by rioters

At this time, Los Angeles police are urgently requesting Waymo to shut down its self-driving car app as… pic.twitter.com/eU4ANqPfyt

I've ridden in one a couple times in downtown Austin and it's honestly the safest Uber/taxi rides I've ever taken. Drove perfectly and didn't have any scary experiences. Those cars are taking in and processing more information about the environment around it than a human ever could.
I would rather a robot drive me around than someone who doesn't speak English or (like a previous Uber experience) the driver flying down the interstate at 90+, smoking a black and mild, while telling me "don't worry, I'm a race car driver. I'll get you there quick my boi." Waymo's are sweet.
