Ordered a 2027 Kia Telluride Hybrid SX-Prestige a few weeks ago from Beck and Masten, now known as Group 1 Auto. I bought my wife a Kia Carnival last summer, here's what I wrote about the different Houston Kia Dealers then.
https://texags.com/forums/46/topics/3550226/replies/70559194Updates since talking to Kia dealers about the Telluride Hybrid last month. This may not be as bad if you're looking at gas only Telluride as they've been out longer. Every dealer I talked to had $2,500-5,000 worth of add-ons/adjustments on the Hybrid Tellurides last month except for Beck & Masten. They sell for MSRP but wouldn't go a penny below it on the Hybrids.
I wanted one with a tow package, B&M had one without a tow package and dealer install of the tow package was $1,800, while factory installed is $625. I offered to buy that one if they would install the tow package for $625 and they flat out refused, offered to order me one with it at MSRP so that's what I did. I would have put one on myself but there aren't any available for the 2027 Hybrid.
I ended up getting Muhammad as a salesperson again, same one I got last year. Had the same experience again as he was quite pushy trying to get me to buy a car they had in stock instead of ordering one from the factory or another dealership that was exactly what I wanted. The back and forth went on for a while until I finally got him to bring the sales manager over that said it was absolutely no problem to order what I wanted.
I've seen people on other message boards claim to get $1,000-2,000 off MSRP of Hybrid Tellurides in other locations but that was not my experience in the Houston area. Also I don't have a trade-in for them to screw me on so they can go under MSRP on the car. My Telluride is scheduled to arrive on the 31st.
