About a month ago I woke up having to use the bathroom every 10 minutes, felt like my bladder wouldn't empty and I just had to keep going. This lasted a few days went away then came back a week later. I went to docs, ran urine culture etc.. no uti, std, etc… Then it went away,

For 3 weeks I was back to normal then this past week it started up again, I'm in living hell right now and am supposed to start a new job in 2 weeks. I'm starting to get depressed honestly and am not sure why my body is failing me

Get a psa done.

Already ran levels, my next step is imaging then an urology. I'm supposed to start a new job soon but I'm not sure I even can because of this

Man after the catheter came out it was game on. If you're getting it removed. Not going g to lie to you, it takes a few months to get back in action. It takes time but you will be able to function in every other normal way.

Did they check for prostatitis? PCP then urology. Good luck.

You get prescribed tamsulosin (flomax)? That may help temporarily.

This last all day and is less prevalent at night

Have had this happen before and it was kidney stones that didn't get stuck on the way to bladder to cause the typical pray for death level pain.

I have zero pain anywhere. Only symptoms are urgency to urinate and frequent urination

Seems they would've done a calcium test. Good you don't have any infections. It sucks but a small don't would be best instead of prostate. Those little *******s hurt and are annoying if they stay stuck.

Went to urgent care, blood in urine. Doc thinks it's an inflamed bladder. If it's not bacterial than what is causing it?

Took some meds feel better today, really hoping it's something I'm eating thats irritating bladder and causing this.

If it's IC or prostatitis I'm up a **** creek without a paddle

Bumping this because I believe I currently have prostatitis. I've had it over 2 months now. Just a constant discomfort in my groin area and frequent urination. I did antibiotics for a month and that didn't do much. Doctor putting me on another antibiotic but I hate just taking stuff nonstop.

Are you still dealing with it? If not, what fixed it?

Definitely the first symptoms I had of kidney stones back in October. Turned into a month of HELL and two surgeries.

Took more painkillers for that than for shoulder surgery. The Azo stuff for the burning didn't do crap. The Flomax has noticeable effects but cannot say it really helped anything. Anti-inflammatories helped a small amount. Narcotics were pretty much all that gave me any relief through the process.

Blood in urine and no bacteria are, I believe pretty common symptoms of stones. I had them.

Would definitely ask for some imaging to be done. If it is a stone and you can head off the whole passing thing, you will be happier.
