Hope some of the ags MDs can help. For the past week I have been running a low grade fever in the early evening hours but just for a couple hours. Temperatures have ranged from 99-101 but then goes down closer to bed time. Could this be work related due to stress, etc? In the morning it is always what i would consider low normal (98.4ish).

I am not worried or nervous but just find this odd and being someone who makes a living solving problems I am curious as to the experts may think.

Thanks,
Tim

Technically, I don't think it's a fever below 100.4, with that said, if you're experiencing a lot of stress at work, that could cause it. Your temp fluctuates anyway, could also be that you have a mild virus, or an inflammatory process (allergies?) going on.

I wouldn't worry about it for at least another week.

*Not anything close to an expert, just a guy who had physical symptoms due to work stress.

I would do a pretty extensive infectious disease work up and also basic blood count to look for leukemia.
