Never used it, but I see the ads all the time. Seems pretty heavily marketed by the fitness community due to its very generous affiliate program.

I think the main ingredient is spirulina, which is a green algae. And you can buy yourself. Then it has a bunch of other stuff added in. I'm not sure how much you're supposed to have daily, but my assumption is that it probably throws in a bunch of stuff that may be under dosed but allows them to say "75 high quality ingredients."

There usually are not shortcuts, and I think you're better off eating a balanced diet and selectively supplementing what you're missing as needed. Because just because it's green, and looks like vegetables, it's made from algae. Not going to have the fiber and phytochemicals that comes in eating a bowl of broccoli/brussel sprouts/spinach/carrots/etc.

Yeah looks like it has several complexes and mixes listed as ingredients instead of being broken down by ingredient.

Big red flag for me on anything.

I tried it and had terrible GI issues. Ended up giving it away after a week.

Essentially, I was constipated for 3 days(literally couldn't take a dump) and then had SEVERE diarrhea for 2 days after that. I quit taking it after 5 days and the symptoms went away after a few days.

A lot of people swear by it so maybe it's just not a good fit for me.

Gummy multivitamins do 95% of what this stuff claims to, at a much cheaper price. And tastier

I'm a regular user and have been for about a year. Yes it's expensive, but it's worth it for me and I can't be the judge of that for you. I decided to give it a go because it covers so many bases for me in a very convenient form. I compared the ingredients and values to all kinds of different vitamins and other greens powders and felt like AG1 covered the most bases from a single product. The only things I felt like it was missing for me were magnesium and vitamin D/K2 (which they give you for free - actually just got a second free bottle from them).

I can definitely tell a difference on days when I forget to take it and haven't had any GI issues. I know they say it's possible at first but it sounded like most people work through it.

Thanks for the replies, I may give it a shot just to see. I go back and forth on if it'll provide any benefits or do absolutely nothing haha.

Giving credit where it's due, the company refunded my money back no questions ask. I even got a call from their product department asking for details on the GI stuff so they can try and improve the formula.

Been using for about 6 months now. I haven't felt more alert or energized like they claim but don't have anything bad to report either. It did not affect my GI tract like some have posted. biggest thing for me is I haven't been able to decide what I want for breakfast for some time now. I'm tired of cereal and don't like "cooking" anything in the morning. This took the guess work out of that and has been nice.

I'm a user, but I consider it a useful supplement for an active lifestyle, not something that will offset bad health choices. I first tried for 30 days 5 or so years ago, I work long hours and wasn't taking great care of myself, and didn't notice any difference. In 2021 I took a renewed focus on my health and started eating better and exercising more, I tried some other green powder for a bit but it didn't seem to do anything. Christmas 2021 my wife got me a 30 day trial for AG1 and I noticed positive results almost immediately and have used it ever since. Better workouts, easier recovery, no GI issues, big immunity boost and generally feel better. We have 2 young kids and I haven't been sick a single time with anything they've brought home, covid was a 6 hr nap sweating it out and I was back at work the next day.

I have an erratic work schedule with long hours and spend half my year living out of a backpack not knowing where I'll be spending the night for much of that time. Being able to take AG1 and cook something like rice, lentils, and chicken breast is as good as it's gonna get until I can find time to get to the store and get fresh vegetables. I'm fully aware there could be better options for others, but it works for me and my lifestyle.
