Does anyone have a suggestion for a good gym backpack that has a compartment for temporarily storing wet items?

Ideally I'd like for it have a place to store 2 water bottles, wet storage, a few smaller pockets (for gloves, towels, keys phones) and a larger pocket for shoes etc.

Thanks in advance.

I like my Kong duffel quite a bit. As far as backpacks, I know they have many options to choose from as well.

I have a 5.11 PTR gym bag that has 2 compartments and within one there is a mesh zip pocket that might be good for wet clothes. Great bag and I use it for when I go to the gym after work since it has a padded laptop compartment.

Maybe look into a triathlon transition backpack as it'll have wet storage.

I love my Roka backpack but probably overkill for a standard gym bag.

Edit: just went to their website to link it and doesn't appear they sell them anymore....crazy

What about a heavy duty type ziploc for the wet stuff?

Under armor sells a nice backpack with storage underneath for wet items or shoes.

I'll share my thoughts when it arrives. Thanks to everyone who shared opinions.

I have the JANDD Quick Change Bag that I used when I was doing triathlons ~15 years ago. It now serves as my mountain biking bag. I bought another a couple of years ago to use for the gym. The main body is just open with a drawstring top and a flap closure. It also has two large vented side pockets that will hold two large 24oz water bottles each along with a vented bottom compartment that worked well for a wetsuit. My shoes will fit in this compartment but not well so I just put them in the main compartment. The outside elastic strap is pretty useless outside of cinching down a small towel or light jacket. It's not the most stylish and I wished it had more anatomical shoulder straps, but it holds a lot of stuff and is very functional for my needs.

Returning this one. The shoe storage solution was a great idea but not functional due to roll top design.
