Very pricey, but the Garmin Fenix has literally changed my life. Every morning, I look forward to the "morning report" on my watch - sleep score, body battery, HRV, heart rate, training readiness, etc... I bought my GF one and now we compete to see who can get the best sleep score.
I find myself doing things to try to get the best score. Also, as an older dude, I love the little flashlight on it for middle of the night bathroom trips or early morning when I don't want to wake up the GF.
And I don't think I need to mention, but the fitness aspects of course are top notch. I use Spotify and I have a workout playlist that syncs my workout playlist and another one with my watch. I can run, bike, whatever without my phone and it connects via Bluetooth to my headphones. I've used Garmin products for probably the last 20? or so years.
I also track steps and try to get 10,000 per day every day. It has challenges you can sign up for to compete with running/biking/whatever.
We have a house on a tidal river on the Ga. coast and there is an app that has the tide schedule which is stupid useful. The tide goes up and down at least ten feet, so you have to be aware of it.
I would pay double for it, and I can't imagine a better watch. I know that is way out of your price range, but the first watch I had was one of the less expensive options. I can't speak to the current models of those, but as you can tell I'm a Garmin fan.
Edit: Come to think of it, I may have my old Fenix lying around somewhere. Fenix 5? I think. I I have the 7 now and I just bought my GF the 8. I try to skip a generation when buying. Edit 2: My GF has the 4 lying around somewhere but she probably won't part with that - it was the first gift I ever bought her.
