I finally caught COVID after a small boat cruise down the upper Mississippi. Got home Saturday and was experiencing a sore throat over the last couple of days of the cruise. On Sunday, I felt much worse and had a low grade temperature. Did the test and came back positive.
Went to Urgent care and they have me a prescription for Lagevrio because I have non progressive kidney disease. Being 75, I went ahead and filled the script for a cost of $1200 because CVS said it wasn't covered by my insurance. Called the insurance company today and they did it needs pre authorization and my payment would only be $250. Now working to get this pre authorization worked up post fact.
Feeling better, just have chest congestion.
