Started a 72 hour fast Sunday after breakfast.

1 cup of coffee this morning. 8 oz. water at noon and will have 8 oz. at 7 tonight.

At the 32 hour point now. Feel pretty good. Walked 3 miles this morning.

Will update tomorrow.

Any reason you're not drinking more water? I would probably drink more water, and I would add some sort of calorie free electrolytes into it. You can do this by just sprinkling some regular table salt, some potassium containing salt alternative (like NuSalt) in some water. I also recommend taking a magnesium supplement during this time. Hypothetically, I think people on prolonged fasts would benefit from a phosphate supplement, but I don't think I've seen it done often/at all with prolonged fasts.

I think I got dehydrated just from reading the OP! I drink more water than that within 20 minutes of waking up, and I'm NOT fasting.

I did the 8 Oz of water and morning coffee the first day and felt fine, however, I upped my water intake to 2 liters per day after that. No idea why I thought 8 Oz. would be enough. Dumb.

Fast went fine. No hunger after the first day. I work out every day, but during the fast I walked 3 miles a day for exercise at a medium pace ( 18.00 per mile ), nothing more.

Nothing really to report. I thought it would be harder but it wasn't. I stayed busy during meal time not because I was hungry but because I "felt" like I should be eating. Felt mentally sharp and physically kinda light and energetic.

Lost 6 lbs. 200 tp 194. Have stayed at 194 since with a normal low carb ( not keto ) diet.

Have felt great since the fast ended.

First meal after the fast was a scrambled egg and half a slice of toast for breakfast. Had a grilled chicken breast and half and avocado for dinner. Stomach felt fine.

Sorry I didn't get back on here sooner. No excuse.
