Does anyone have experience with a sports hernia. I haven't seen a professional yet but everything points this direction. Hurt it playing soccer and still have much more season left. Is there any hope to tape it up and bio freeze may way through the next 8 weeks or am I done for now.

No you cant tape it up. Either gut it out, no pun intended, or get a diagnosis to see how involved if you indeed have it.

depends on how bad it is, I guess. I have/had one several years back. aggiederelict was one of the PTs I saw after doctors told me it was "inoperable." Did quite a bit of PT and lost of mobility/strength work to counter the issue. I was able to get back to ultra running and never had surgery. It was painful at times, but as I worked through exercises and over time, that went away.

Now, all that said, it took about 18 months to be completely pain-free so even if OP could do what I did, he's probably not finishing the current season without pain.
