Does anyone have a recommendation for adjustable dumbbells? Looking for a pair that can adjust from 5-50 lbs each. There are several on amazon around $250-300. I want to avoid buying crappy ones that will break.

Probably above your price point but I've had PowerBlocks for about a decade and had zero issues with them.

You're likely good with most anything. I got mine like 15 years ago and all of the current ones look nicer.

Powerblocks is probably the way to go and would likely also have better resell value as well

I had the Iron Master for several years and they worked well. I sold them years later for more than what I paid for them.

Rep makes some really good adjustable dumbbells. You may look there but both suggestions may be outside your price limits.

I have some Bowflex adjustable dumbbells but I think Powerblocks are better. I just didn't do much research when I bought them a long time ago when I got them. Powerblocks show up from time to time on Woot so you can get a deal on them if you're looking on the right day.

If I were getting a 50# pair I would get the REP Quick Draw. Comes with a lifetime warranty. REP is a great company. Don't buy the trash on Amazon.

Currently enjoying the "Reppins" myself, which go up to 85#

I have NordicTrack. They work fine. Occasionally it's a little finicky, but no major issues.

I have had a set of Bowflex adj. dumbbells for about 20 years. They work fine; my set only goes to 55lbs, which is too light for anything other than curls.

I want a pair of the Reppins

I have Eisenlinks (similar design to Iron Master).

Mine go from 5-85# and they are extremely durable and solid. I like them a lot.

I picked them because of their durability and price mostly. I had Powerblocks before but don't like reaching into a "cage" to grab the handle and they don't seem super durable but they were well made for the design.

The Powerblocks were great for quick weight changes and the Eisenlinks aren't bad but are definitely slower to change. It's not an issue for my workouts, though.

I had the Bowflex for several years with no real issues. There are no doubt better adjustable dumbbells out there, but they do the job for the price. Just gotta be careful setting them down, but that's almost any adjustable dumbbell.

I had PowerBlocks with the extension up to 70lbs. I had those outside in a covered area and they lasted 5 years before selling them for 60% of what I paid for them. Definitely recommend.
