That was very interesting. It stuck out to me how he mentioned the wonder other nations had for the form and function of the government. Also and this hit hard was the mention of there being no class structure. I hate that we talk very regularly in America today about class as if it is an organic American state of understanding things. Would be good to get back to previous understandings of American society (obviously not talking about slavery et al)

Great observations. The 'class' stuff is pure Marxist theory. The degree to which even conservatives have come to accept an essentially Marxist world view and rhetorical frame is maybe our biggest problem at present. The idea of "racism" itself is another Marxist (Trotskyist actually) rhetorical device that is relatively new and should be dispensed with.
