I knew about the documentaries....I was thinking big Hollywood movie" but wasn't very clear in my initial post.

I'll need to watch The Cambridge Spies....looks like it might be closest to scratching that itch

Old guy here. If my memory serves me correctly, there was a TV series back in the '50s called "I lead Three Lives" that was supposed to be based on the life of Philby.
