Died July 2021.Aged 93.

In spite of a shortened leg due to polio, Monte chose to be in the Corps, got a vet
degree and was a gymnast! He performed at halftime of BB games doing
giant swings on horizontal bars!

He ran a vet clinic in Cleburne until he retired.

A great Aggie!

Didn't know until I saw the list of Ags who died in the last year-Corps list or Former student List.

Surprised his name didn't come up at the Muster.

Talked to him short time ago after he was mentioned in a Silver Star report - didn't know

him personally but always admired him for overcoming his polio.
