I feel like I know most of the pacific broad strokes but not enough about Japan's invasion of China. So what is a good book about that part of the Pacific theater?

There may be others but I thought Richard Frank did a good job in his book Tower of Skulls.
I'll second that, with the caveat that it only covers through the end of April 1942.
