Pretty amazing how well preserved these are from nearly 2000 years ago!

These weapons are from the Jewish Revolt against Rome in 67 AD through the Bar Kochba Revolt around 132..

Even as a History major and studying history for 40 years...

it still is freaky to me to see actual German equipment from 1943 or a trench from 1864.

reading like 500 books you can know everything about a subject- but it is still just letters written on a piece of paper.

to actually see something that existed 2,000 years ago is insane..and some of those Roman facilities are nicer than modern buildings!
