I enjoyed the movie so I found a copy of "American Prometheus" on which the movie is based. I highly recommend it. The movie barely scratches the surface of this incredibly complex man. If anyone thinks his genius was confined to theoretical physics, this book will have a lot of surprises.

It's also a good look at how McCarthyism of the early 50s played out. And the incredible corruption in the FBI and AEC as they prosecuted him. When I watched the movie I thought the portrayal of Lewis Strauss had to be a caricature of a petty, vindictive little man. But the book actually made him look even worse.

Anyone else read it yet?

I couldn't think of the actor that I thought Josh Hartnett reminded me of in this movie, and randomly came across him in a Lost youtube video.
Bret Cullen, who is one of the all-time "that guy" actors.
No real additional commentary on the film, just had annoyed me that I couldn't place the name until now.
