This was released a few days ago. I honestly did not know he was from Bryan, TX. His dad was taking courses at A&M when Pearl happened. I could listen to him recount his experiences all the time. He has a way of talking about the happenings and bringing them home so to speak.
God loves you so much He'll meet you where you are. He also loves you too much to allow to stay where you are.

I was interviewed by Joe Galloway in, I think, 2016 as part of the Library of Congress Vietnam War history project. He was an interesting guy.

Thanks for sharing that. Great interview. Galloway probably had more actual trigger time than a lot of others in uniform. Amazing story.

Considering it is estimated that for every person engaged in combat in Vietnam there were 10 in support roles that would be a good bet.

He does have a very deliberate pace to his speech
