I used them last fall and had them design a custom tour for me: day 1 medieval history, day 2 revolution and day 3 Napoleon. My tour guide was Olek and he was awesome, he could talk the bark off of a tree. Not only did I see what was planned, he gauged my knowledge and interests and we saw things not on my itinerary. They are pricey but very good. The tour guides are also like a fast pass at Disney World you don't wait in line at the museums and things like the Arch de Triomphe.

Spent 11 or 12 days in France and Belgium on a WWI tour in 2018, to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the end of the Great War. I am envious of your trip!

We visited five or six of the WWI cemeteries, from the smallest to the largest. The ABMC does exemplary work with regard to the U.S. cemeteries. Say what you want about the French but some of the monuments there are beyond impressive.

I do not know where all your travels will take you, but if you are anywhere close to Ypers, Belgium, make a point to see the nightly "Last Post Ceremony."

Point du Hoc?

I visited this UK site in June 2024

Visited Utah beach, Omaha beach and Point Du Hoc in 2012. One of my uncles, Class of '41, waded ashore at Omaha. I was and continue to be impressed by the focus and bravery of our soldiers, the greatest generation!
