Cognetti has Bama ties but IU may open the bank to keep him. UF should be banging on his door at least forcing IU to pay him. Base salary is $500k plus bonuses guy is very confident gambler but if he was at UF this year he wouldn't be undefeated with their schedule. It is the hardest schedule in the nation. Will play 7 ranked teams by the end of the season.

Yea, still not buying that he's better than Elko. I think Elko could have done the same thing in Indiana with that schedule.

It remains to be seen if he has still beaten anyone. Oregon "earned" their ranking based on a big upset win at PSU. Something Northwestern just proved is not that special. Elko has done more with a far more difficult schedule. I predict OSU puts IU in its place eventually.

Think he's just pointing out all the bad takes on Cignetti, including yours. He's a good coach and will have Indiana in the playoffs this year, barring catastrophe. Elko is also a good coach and glad we have him. Both can be true.
