Interesting breakdown more pointing out the mistakes from Florida as opposed to our breakdowns highlighting the area the Ags performed well. Thought I would share.

Really good. I love this stuff.

I thought he was pretty complimentary of Reed and the OL. I think it clearly points out how much easier it was playing against UF than against ND and why we should not jump to conclusions about relative QB performance when they clearly didn't play the same defenses.

Oh and the breakdown of Marcel's juke was hilarious and so well set up by his analysis of UF12 earlier in the game.

The first minute and a half of the video is a roundabout compliment of Bateman, he says that Florida last year was making smart defensive play calls but not executing but are now making dumb play calls this year, particularly in the secondary.

It makes those rumors that Bateman left because of the Co-DC issues at Florida seem true.

That was awesome, thanx for the share. I'd love to see him break down the A&M defense.

Lets be fair, that is a better fan defensive film review than Florida deserves right now. No matter how bad Florida has been recently, though, it is nice to be on this side of the scathing review for once.

I rewatched the game last night and on some of the big plays, their defense reminded me of HS defenses where WRs run wide open all over the place.

He did. Check out the channel and he already posted the A&M Defense vs UF Offense.

Yea. Check the Film Study video with McGee. The play where Moose just stands around and messes up the play, there is a dude just running completely unguarded on another wheel route. UF defense is horribly bad and is why the HC will get fired; not really the offense.

Their secondary looks like they never practiced. They play a cover 2 or 3, you blink and it looks like its man but no one is sure which man they have. They are a really bad team. I would be surprised if they win 4 games.

He did a separate video with that breakdown also on YouTube.

We ran for 300 yards. Secondary was the least of their concerns.

They had concerns all over the field but their safeties played 12 yards off the line of scrimmage most of the day. Too deep to stop the shorter passing game and too deep for run support. They did us a favor by not being more aggressive. They also made a lot of coverage mistakes

So all I take away from this is that the Florida defense is really bad, so our offense isn't really any good.

After watching that I'm not nearly as impressed with our performance. Florida D is just really bad.

Hopefully we can have some success against better defenses. Bowling Green is probably going to be better than Florida.

You people are pathetic. 300 yards rushing against air is outstanding. Grow some damn balls.

Here is Steve Spurrier's take:

link to video in the quote

Quote:

"(Mike) Elko, luckily, his starter got hurt because the other kid is a much better player," Spurrier said on an episode of Another Dooley Noted Podcast. "My grandson is an assistant quarterback coach at A&M. His fiance, she was happy that the backup quarterback got in there instead of the one that was the starter the first game. So maybe they've learned a lot in their third game."
