Will not allow their logo on any shirt with an American flag. Gonna have to cheer for the TT's.

Quote// LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Every Texas Tech home game has a theme that includes a special gameday shirt sold by Red Raider Outfitter.
That ranges from highlighting the cotton industry of West Texas to "Celebrate America", which is set for Saturday as the Texas Tech Red Raiders welcome Big 12 Conference newcomer Colorado.
However, this weekend, a gameday shirt won't be on sale.
Red Raider Outfitter owner Stephen Spiegelberg said the design and preparation for themes, including the "Celebrate America" game, begins months in advanced. Texas Tech Athletics approved the shirt quickly, but Colorado said it was "not interested."
Spiegelberg said adjustments were made to the original design and another one was sent for approval. And, once again, Colorado said it was not interested, he said.
"At that point, we pressed a little bit more and we were told they won't be licensing a product that had an American flag on it," he said.
He added they're aware other shirts are on the marketplace and Red Raider Outfitter was given the opportunity to remove the flag.
He said that was something they refused to do.
"At this point with our fanbase, we decided we would not be selling any type of Colorado merchandise in the store with the logo," Spiegelberg said. "We refuse to do that because Colorado would receive financial benefit from those shirts. And we don't think that anybody has the right to limit the use of the American flag in this great nation."
Speigelberg said despite not having an official gameday shirt on sale this week, Red Raider Outfitter is still going to donate to Lubbock's "Monument of Courage" initiative.
Each year, the store donated the proceeds made from each "Celebrate America" shirt to local charities benefiting veterans and the military.
"We've already decided that we're making our normal donation to Danny Koch, which is a war memorial here in Lubbock," he said. "It'll be used - adding a West Texas Purple Heart to his memorial. We're pleased to say that we're continuing to make that donation regardless of Colorado's intent to limit our ability to celebrate. We will continue to keep celebrating here."
He said all galvanized and Americana merchandise purchases will support those initiatives including to honor Specialist 5 Dwight Birdwell at the West Texas Medal of Honor Memorial.
KCBD has reached out to Colorado Athletics and has not received a response at this time.
