Credit Elko for bringing in missing pieces to the offense to really give Reed all the weapons needed to succeed. Just need to stay healthy this year.

What about the dime Reed dropped over the top to Thomas vs LSU?

Watch the highlights posted on another thread. Our qbs over throw, under throw, throw poorly to our undefended wrs in practice.
Bad look tonight out of practice. Really bad. We need less hype.

Seabond, I dont "want us to suck". There have been a few years we have "sucked" though, and I definitely dont want that.
We're just average. I feel we will continue to be "average". To expect anything else than the same results we've had, minus 2 seasons, in the last 25 years is a little unrealistic.
I hope we have an above average season.
By the way, DrewTamu is my Guy. I think he does an Awesome job!

It's not going to be ground and pound. Maybe we'll average 200 ypg rushing but we are going to throw the ball as well. The run game will set up the pass and then the pass will set up the run game. In today's game you need to be pushing 450-500 ypg of offense on average to
Compete for titles . They didn't bring in the speed they did at wr for blocking.
Totally agree with the general theme of your post .

Kenny Hill destroyed South Carolina on the road to open the 2014 season.
One game is clearly not enough of a data point to extrapolate. One play, even less so.
Zach Calzada looked like a first round QA for chunks of the Bama game he pulled off. Conner had some throws against Miami that had folks that dig in to QBs screaming about his ceiling being insanely high.
We see flashes all the time, but it's been years since we had any sort of consistently above average QB performance.
Perhaps it is just a psychological thing from watching A&M more than other teams, but it certainly feels like other teams roll QBs in that are able to perform while we routinely have QBs come in and look incredibly raw and then make little to no progress.

Seriously. It like none of you all have ever played and practiced sports if you take a few short practice clips and blanket say we suck.
Maybe the coaches had them working on something new and they had not gotten the hang of it yet
Maybe they were off a bit that day or even at the moment and not the whole day.
The best of the best can look like **** at times.
Timing will come around with so many new pieces.

While he did go 6/8, he didn't often hit guys in stride. In a game, those ball placements are more likely to either get your guy blown up or potentially batted/picked.
That said, it's one clip from one drill. I'm not gonna say we're going 3-9 just yet.

The voice of reason! And yes, these BAS Ags need to go find a new hobby. Go watch the news or something. Go to the beach. Just get lost. I wonder what the average age of the BAS Ags is. 40+?

Trying to understand your comment but can't figure out if you are saying 40+ is old. I assume you are suggesting you are less than 40 and therefore have a more positive outlook.
I can tell you this, I am 40++ and would not consider myself an old ag. I can tell you that the real old ags have seen some stuff that would make today seem like a fantasy. So don't go blaming them.
