What are y'all's personal "hot takes" or bold predictions that take place in college football this year? I'm talking predictions that are some of the boldest takes for this season.
My main hot takes are:
- Sips go 8-4 at best. Arch hype train starts falling apart. Losses probably to Ohio State, Georgia, Florida, and 1 more to us/vandy, etc (I could see this happening because they have new OL and lost 16 starters)
- Tech shocks the CFP world and wins the Big 12 and makes the playoffs. This take is a hot one because Tech has never been near this level of success in a while. This is a BIG year for them.
- Vandy goes into T-town and upsets Bama for the first time in over 40 years. This is the boldest one I have. I think Pavia has that DAWG mentality. He comes off as cocky to me in the Netflix Show, but I like it.
- The Ags take it personal and dominate the sips from start to finish in Austin. Blowout on the scoreboard. Hot take because I have this game being close no matter who wins.
- Franklin finally gets over the hump and wins the Big Ten and a national championship this year with Penn State. Hot take because Franklin hasn't shown that he can consistently win big as of yet.
What other hot takes do y'all have?
