No.

Example:
If the pickoff reads:
Iowa State: 1.0
Kansas State: 5.8

For every $1.0 bet on Iowa State, if Iowa State wins, the wagerer wins $5.8 and receives $6.8 back.
For every $5.8 bet on Kansas State, if Kansas State wins, the wagerer wins $1.0 and receives $6.8 back.

Some teams have not been bet on so the odds are not true there.

I love this game, it seems I can excel for 2-3 weeks in a row and then get skunked. My goal every year has been to be even with those who just collect the 10k every week and never bet.

I dont think I have achieved it much, if at all. Definitely my favorite game.

the odds change as folks bet, they sometimes change dramatically right before kickoff

You are playing against your fellow TexAg participants, and they will jack with you at times

Each game locks at the kickoff of each individual game, correct? So you can make wagers for early games, but wait until closer to kickoff of the later games?

whatever you dont bet rolls over. Week 5 you will see several folks with 50k that never placed bets at all

Curious, anyone remember what the approx bankroll of the winner at the end of the season usually is? I assume there's maybe 13 weeks, so $130,000 for anyone who places no bets. What's 1st place usually at?

$200k? I'm assuming it's way higher than that.
$500k?

It prevents me from actually putting any real money on games. I will climb into the top 25 then at some point get slammed back to earth and finish the season at breakeven or worse.

I have an amazing knack for being on the wrong side of major upsets.
