One of the more impressive things I've seen in our team this season is how much stronger we are in the 2nd half than everyone else... We wear them down, keep up the pressure, and other teams simply break.

I remember that same effect at LSU for decades... and now we have Moffet.

It seems like he is the MVP of our late game heroics as much as anyone playing. Our guys look fresh, fast, hard, and just smoke other teams in the 2nd half.

I think tu, more than anyone, relies heavily on their talent and not their effort... they have shown themselves to quit in the 2nd half of physical games...

I think we have a real chance to embarrass them...

If we play 4 full quarters, they cannot stop us. If we are close going into the halftime, they are in serious trouble... If we are ahead at halftime, they have zero chance minus 3-4 turnovers.

I think the Moffit Effect comes full force this week... I think we smoke them. 42-17

Hope you're right and this game doesn't come down to a field goal.

Interestingly the place kickers are the only position group that didn't train with Moffitt.

That was pretty much the same thing Kirby Smart implied after they beat them. But it's a rivalry game so I expect they'll match the intensity to start the game.

They may have the will, but not the ability. This team has had experience having to dig deep, stay focused, and fight to the end of physical games like ND and LSU. Texas had to dig deep against MSU and Kentucky, and even then they were bailed out by poor coaching decisions and penalties. They don't seem like a team that can fight back from a big deficit or hang around for 4 quarters with more physical teams.

A sip told me yesterday that they're just in a rebuilding year. No, they've got bigger problems than that.

I hope Elko gets Moffit the money he deserves to stay in College Station. You know LSU is going to come sniveling back.

Josh Pate said the same thing. He observed it when he was at the tub Georgia game. There was a cultural difference, an identity, that Georgia has. tu didn't have it.
