Thursday morning after the agreement was finalized, Drinkwitz posted a family picture to his X account with "#STP" in the caption an acronym for something to prove. It's a phrase frequently used in posts about or referencing the Mizzou Tigers.

That's a lot of money for four loss seasons. I guess everyone is happy being good not great.

He is the pinnacle of what Mizzou will ever get in a coach

Expectations from the fanbase at Mizzou are also astronomically lower than at the schools with openings (PSU, UF, LSU)

Get paid $10mil to be slightly above average? Seems like his jam. And I really dont blame him.

Drink definitely is a good coach, but Elko seems to scheme well against him so I'm good with it.

Drink was never going to leave anyone who thought so I've got ocean view property in Arizona for them lol. He has all the support he wants / needs and has lower expectations. Also no other school would put up with just how weird he is, when he's not winning championships

I think Kiffin is a gripey lil entitled *****, but it'd be hilarious if he stayed at Ole Miss and afterwards claimed he was just fighting for a living wage for his fellow coaches.

I thought Drinkwitz was driven enough to want the best of everything in order to win championships. I knew Mizzou would be thrilled to be a perennial 8-4. I didn't think Drink would as well. Live and learn...

And yeah. he's just creepy. That's a big part of the reason I wanted him to leave. I live in Columbia, MO and get sick to death of him during football season.
