Around 80 members of the corps gathered at a lot near Kyle Field at 7:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, where they would begin a 100-mile relay-style event. Broken up into teams, they'll run to the Corps' march staging area in Austin, escorted by police, with the plan to be there by 11 a.m.

From there, they will march in with the fightin' Texas Aggie Band to finish the delivery.

Wonder what the sips will do next year? A big part of me says absolutely nothing and they will let the epic gesture flounder.

I saw them on 290 between Manor and Elgin this morning.

Good bull. Not a new thing. We ran game balls from Bonfire overnight to DKR. It was a Squadron 7 (1977-1981) fundraising tradition.

Human centipede chain to Kyle. Sad thing is, they'll have way too many volunteers

80 Runners. About 1 mile each. Probably made really good time.

Or 3-5 running at once, one carrying the ball the others as escorts. 3-5 Mile Intervals. Still probably good time for the distance.
