These are the laziest studies, and the nfl promotes the same internal studies year after year. There is no segmentation of grass types or synthetic turf manufacturers and the results are heavily skewed as a result. I've seen studies from a separate lab that does some breakdown by manufacturer and the results look very different. The turf at DKR and next week at Atlanta is the same manufacturer and has a larger market share than others, skewing the injury stats compared to natural grass.
