Miami might still get in over texas if bama loses tomorrow. If somehow Pitt or smu wins the acc, I wouldnt be surprised if Miami squeezes in.

I could see them getting in but the Florida loss should keep them out.

Texas will get in

Alabama could likely have 3 losses after getting beat in SEC championship. LSU certainly has the talent to beat OU. With the cries for the BDF getting 2 in. Those scenarios including Miami could cause some serious issues. Not to mention the possibility of Michigan beating OSU.

The CFP committee will use their "eye test" to get them in. It will cause a big stir for a day or so but the national media will cover for them and then they will be the front runner again to win it all. This is how it works with them.

Like so many other things in society, a lot of noise that Texas should be in, but nobody has a good idea of how to get them there. If OU, ND, and Bama all win tomorrow (which they all should), there's simply not enough seats at the table. The math can't math at that point. Being at 16 right now instead of 12 or 13 is a boat anchor around their neck.

the ACC champion will be in unless TWO G5 schools are higher ranked

Ok then, UF > t.u.

Even if Miami, OU, Michigan, and Bama lose it's still dicey if Texas would get in (ND beating Stanford assumed).

Texas may (should) be ahead of Utah and Vandy by virtue of not having the OSU loss torpedo a vastly superior resume, but a 1 loss BYU or Tech losing in the CCG is probably a hurdle too far notwithstanding their relative merits.

More amusing Vandy could easily get screwed even with a win over UT as the 6th ranked SEC team to a 2 loss Tech/BYU (in the CCG), Miami with a win (v Pitt), or Michigan with a win (v OSU, understandably).

Even with a UT win by Vandy BYU would have better wins (Utah and Arizona) than Vandy's over LSU, Mizzou, Tenn and the two losses to Bama and Texas would be more debilitating than the Mormon's to Tech.

Rankings assume what's happened thus far rather than a forward projection of your resume. I think there's a very good chance they leap a bunch of teams this week. 3 top 10 wins is something no other team can claim.

Had Ole Miss lost yesterday too, Whorns would solidly be the 4th best team in the SEC with a win against us by standings and I think stood a damn good chance to get in with no other movement. Now they probably need quite a bit of help.

Im sure the committee are pulling hard for LSU today just to make the OU/texas conundrum go away somehow.

We are in let this other **** be settled on the field. OSU lost at home to Michigan and rolled thru the playoffs. Quit worrying about it and worry about our team.
We are in now we host a game at Kyle. How cool is that and at some point Moss may return.

Texas path in goes thru Norman if lsu wins then they are in.
I really don't care who is in besides us.

The CFP will say sip beat 3 ranked teams and are one of the 12 best teams playing right now, because they beat us and Arky at home.
