We still need better LBs. They were MIA all night when Arch scrambled straight up the middle for huge first down runs, and constantly were taking bad angles in the second half allowing Horns to get huge runs.

Better LB and kicker for starters. But really better skills all over. Hopefully 11 or more wins and making the playoffs keeps bringing more talent.

Our offense **** the bed beyond measure. All Marcel needed to do was get it in our play makers hands. He had one job and failed. Stage was too big for him.

Same with our false start prone o line.

Need better LB's, DT's, and Safeties. One major problem with this years defense is that it just doesn't force turnovers. The DB's never turn their heads looking for the ball and you don't see our guys trying to punch the ball out of the ball carriers hands, like you do elite teams. The defense is a mix of older guys that aren't elite, but play well together as a team. There are some nice younger pieces that are backups and Elko is recruiting well on defense, but he's going to have to find help in the portal to fix the issues until those younger guys are ready.
