We could have beaten them last night if we had played to our capabilities. And we can beat them in Kyle if that scenario occurs. And that would be really fun. Or we could all pullout our "10" chains and lay an egg. Who knows. It's just entertainment. It's meaning less in the grand scheme, so have a beer.

A&M at #7 is pretty reasonable. Back of the line for the 11-1 teams outside of BYU

Texas at #10? Probably not. They'll jump Vandy but Miami will be in the way. And maybe even BYU.

I honestly wouldn't mind if that happened. It gives A&M a chance to redeem itself, and on a bigger stage.

No way in hell the playoff committee matches the game back to back. If Texas makes the playoff it will be in the same bracket but will.require each to win to get there to really make it mean something. Which won't happen because well let's face it coaches could not focus on the one game that mattered this week and the team was unprepared and lost. But the man got his raise and extension. I long for the old days of college football, teams and coaches meant something to the school, and the school meant something to the players and coaches. The decline started long before the transfer portal and now NIL, but the two accelerated it to the point that wait until next year doesn't mean these kids and this coach will reach the summit, it means the coach will introduce the new team to his schemes and style and the fans will learn a new roster. I get the MNC is a big deal but it used to be third behind the rival and the conference. Too much emphasis on it now. But I am.just an old battered Ag who couldn't get into Vet school and went another direction instead.

Tech is very underrated Had they not had their QB hurt for that one loss they would be undefeated

Was it the Concepcion run for a TD or the EJ Smith run for a TD that Reed scored?

Utah is not getting in this year, IMHO. Our defense lost some muscle to injuries up front and it shows the last two games. We should be good for the Alamo or Las Vegas bowls but the defense is definitely in rebuilding mode while the offense has some real talent.

The committee has kept us as the lowest ranked undefeated, and yesterday's game certainly gained us no respect. For the record I don't think this will happen, but if we're talking worst case..
