Class of '77… 3 Generation Family of Ags…Gone to games since 1959…

Suffered through:
Hank Foldberg
Coach Stallings (except for 1967)
Coach Bellard (remember Arky 1975 ?)
Tom Wilson
Dennis Franchione
Latter years of Kevin Sumlin
Jimbo $$$ Fisher

BAS is real… Until you finally get over your insecure self, grow up, and realize that nothing is ever promised…

I've got great friends and loving extended family that attended tu… We texted during the game last night with each score… Frustrating, but good to all get together..

Bottom line… Quit being petulant children… Grow a pair…

We're a really good football team, with a great record this season, because we played essentially an SWC style schedule with one non-conference credible opponent…

The SEC is tough, and the schedule worked in our favor… No GA, OU, BAMA, Ole Miss, UT…

Think about that…

Our conference opponents (except for tu) were a combined 13-47… They lost 3 games for every one they won…

Hell, 3 of them have only won 1 conference game…

USCe has only won ONE game… We must have beat South Carolina by 3 TDs… Right ??

And Arky is winless… We musta KILLED Arky, right ??? Oh, wait…

The one team we played that had a winning record curb-stomped us in the second half… 24-7…

BAS is only real for children who haven't grown up yet, regardless of their age…

Lighten up and grow up so I can quit yelling at these damn clouds…

Enjoy being in the CFP… I will…

Oh, and GET OFF MY LAWN…

I refuse to buy into the narrative that we just played a bunch of weak teams and that's the only reason we had a good season. Nobody plays a bunch of one and two loss teams. We played a solid schedule and won every damn game except tu. They were better prepared and it showed. It happens. But we didn't lose because they were the only good team we faced. Statistically the game was anyone's game but you can't throw two interceptions in plus territory against good competition and expect to win. We were out coached and out played on a single night…that shouldn't automatically equate to us just having an easy schedule.

We're solidly in 4-6 range. When the committee makes its final list, we'll just be an 11-1 team with one really good road win and one road loss to a ranked team. They won't factor in our abject failure as a program with an uncanny abilty to crumble on the biggest stages.

Completely agree with the OPs post. But then again, I've also lived through the same years of Aggie football. We have a very good team, with an excellent record. Are we the best team in college football? Probably not, but we are good enough to win out if the stars align. We could also lose in the first round of the playoffs. Enjoy the ride!

BAS is real. The reason it's real is that A&M has forever had a problem with consistency. (like losing to App State and then defeating #1 Alabama the next game)

If we have been playing like one of the top 3 teams in the country, and we have, then we should have beaten tu.

Every year we will sabotage our success to one degree or another, but be certain of this:

We will always sabotage ourselves every year.

It's as repeatable as the law of gravity or any law of nature.
No, I don't care what CNN or Miss NOW said this time

Yes, you are. Anyone paying attention knew that the tu of yesterday was nothing like the tu of week 1. And that was primarily because of Manning's growth. It was amusing to hear people trash him using season statistics…the average is meaningless when the subject has steadily increased over time. Despite our demonstrably poor performance, we still had opportunities to win the game.

I also have lived it. It's always the same. Never being able to finish. Play calling on both sides of the ball was horrendous. Punting and field goal kicking. It just looked like we didn't want to win. You know once someone looses the incentive to win by getting guaranteed money kinda makes me wonder. He'll coaches ( maybe not ours ) have admitted so. Look at dumbo. Anyhow great season, but went in expecting this. But to Texas. I would have rather lost to samford. Geez

I agree, we have an average team with an inflated record, that we should be proud of. How is that any different than TTU or Indiana that we hold in low regard?

Do you people actually believe this, or are you just having a pity party?

Who all are they sliding in front of A&M to put us at 9?

That would basically mean you move us behind both of the following 2 loss teams:
- A ND team we beat on their turf (long time ago, but we only have 1 loss and beat them)
- An OU team....that lost to tu in a blowout on a neutral field
