I hate the sips. I'm an old and the sip game has always meant more. But hear me out.
Back in the 80-90s. We would beat sips, win conference then lay an egg in the bowl game. No one remembers those seasons (outside of Aggies). RC wasn't fired because of losses to sips. He couldn't win the big game.

If we go on a playoff run, that's what we will be remembered for. It sure doesn't look like we are championship caliber team. Not from the showing last night or two weeks ago. But we COULD get a two week bye. We will get at least a one week bye (not playing in the sec championship). If we can figure some things out, we could still have an outstanding season.

It sucks not beating our rivals. But we can still win it all. This loss does not have to define us. Bama won the Natty for the 2012 season.

See Ohio-State losing to Michigan. Consistently.

And going on to win the National Championship.

Multiple times.

Let's be like Ohio State.

The deal is that I was in high school the last time we started a season 11-0. If it's the same gap, I'll be 80 the next time it happens.

As much as we would like to beat our rival and win SEC, those are secondary and always will be to winning NC. In the past you kinda needed to do both to have chance at NC, but not anymore.

The ultimate prize is still available to this team and 11 others. That's it.

Get to work, fix a few things and see what happens. This team will not be an easy out for anybody.
