And then come out and play scared and unconfident. How the hell does that happen?

We completely shut them down in the first half. They were horrible. And why did we lose our edge over halftime?

We just were never that good. Pretty good? Yeah. But not very good.

I don't believe that. What we lacked last night was playing loose. The stage was too big apparently.

Our defense played really well in the first half. Offense seemed to settle in and find a rhythm by the end of the half. None of that momentum transferred to second half.

We played tight - like we were playing not to lose.
Sometimes being undefeated is a handicap.
I was hoping the S.C. game was a wake-up call...

No more Heisman talk. No more undefeated talk.
Let's hope this wakes us up and we just play lights-out.

I think this was the first time all year we played worse in the second half than the first - which has been normal for Aggie teams for at least the last 2 decades. So tradition?

We go only as far as Reed takes us…. Scratch that man from the Heisman list please

Complete momentum shift with our horrible first offensive series to start the 2nd half. Pass happy Klein got pass happy. Game over.

We didn't have much experience against good teams because we hadn't played one since ND. Other than them and Texas every other team we played was average to downright bad.

We came out flat on offense to start the third but what really changed the game was Texas found something that worked in the running game. Wisner had almost 100 yards rushing in the third. That opened up their offense and allowed them to take momentum and win the game.

And that wouldn't have happened if we came out on our first possession with energy.

That can be chalked up solely to Klein's lack of situational awareness. I want him gone. Please..please someone hire him!

100% correct. Drive down for a TD, we're up 17-3 and force sip to throw the ball around. Instead, momentum shift and they run the ball all over us to take control of the game.

The stage wasn't big at South Bend. That demon was excised, as far as our schedule allowed.

We struggle with Texas. We have since I officially became an Aggie anyway in '95, winning only 5 out of 19.

Why is that?

Since joining the SEC and now with NIL our recruiting classes are ranked higher than ever and more competitive with the Longhorns, if not outright better, than years past.

We're turning things around against LSU. We have completely flipped the script against former SWC foe Arkansas.

Maybe our coaches take on the collective angst of Aggies needing to beat tu and it has a real effect trickling down to the players.

"lights out"...that's not how A&M rolls.

Offense going 3 and out every drive in the 3rd Quarter gassed our defense.

3 of 5 pundits picked us, those that didn't guessed it perfectly - "Ags will likely press and Manning becomes superman while ramping up the Heisman talk for next year."

Unbelievable!!!
