That's what a real rivalry looks like. Both teams have real pedigrees. Always something riding on it. Pretty equal number of wins. By these criteria, we don't have a rivalry.

The first non-call didn't bother me. The second one was a gift. The phantom first down call in the 4th quarter was egregious. I don't recall us getting really screwed on anything. But to say the zebras took control of the game (from us) is ridiculous.

I've never understood the "they were ranked when we played them" argument, if it was early in the season or upon the team's collapse. Mizz doesn't count with a third stringer. LSU was quitting. All the other wins, sans ND, were against bad teams. I'm not making a case against A&M, I've very much enjoyed the season, as much as those maroon blinded fools who denigrate the success of other teams. The whole speck vs plank in the eye.

I guess OSU wasn't worthy that year but were the next year. So by your logic Aggies are a lock to win it all next year after another loss to tu.

Because that's how it works in EVERY sport ever. You beat them they literally move down in the rankings. And if you dog stomp them it lowers their morale and can end their season.

Saying it doesn't matter now is stupid and short sighted. And it minimizes a teams win over a ranked win.

To have all your victories over ranked teams remain ranked at the end is not very common.

I don't think any program in the country has been as consistently good over the last 35 years, or so, as Ohio State.
