Amusingly it could be tight for more than 4 SEC teams with two Big 12 teams heading into the CCG with one loss and Miami spanking Pitt.

How does the committee keep ND in front of the Hurricanes? ND's best win is over a 8-3 USC team whose best win is over a 9-3 Michigan team with no ranked wins. Miami's best win is over ND.

Can the committee make the argument that ND's loss to Miami is more quality than the Hurricanes' losses such that the Irish are more deserving with a straight face?

ND is in 1000%

No doubt, but I don't think it can be at the expense of Miami. At least it shouldn't be.

There will need to be some reconsideration in the final rankings.

And if No. 5 Tech loses in a CCG that other teams don't have to play how do you leave them out?
