It is what it is. Let's let it go! Let's focus on postseason and on never allowing this to happen ever again. Remember we are in a season we only dreamed of. Yes, this last game was nightmare scenario but we should use that pain to defeat them for the next 20 years. We make it a legacy of defeating them.

11 wins is great....team overperformed vs preseason expectations...all true...

But, they still lost to tu when a higher ranked team (they way they performed was unacceptable).

If they bow out in the 1st rd of playoffs, season becomes very questionable as to what was really accomplished. Sunshine pumpers will say 11 wins and 1st time to CFP...which will be true, but pragmatics will point out still a disappointment to get to 11 wins and then fail miserably to close it out (inability to finish...just like last year).

Are there really people that obsessed with the longhorns they would give one thought to losing to them if we win a natty? I'd lose to them every single year if we won the natty every year.

We should have some perspective in a landscape with 16 conference teams. 4 different teams are 7-1 just like us and it comes down to stupid tiebreakers. It might take perfection to make the title game, that doesn't mean we can't be encouraged by progress

Unless we get to play them in the playoffs somehow, we have to move on. It is what it is: We've gotta look towards postseason & be proud of our record this year. Clearly, the way we were playing against Texas does not define our year. We had the last 20 hours to be disappointed. It's time to get our focus back. We've had an amazing winning season.
