Arch killed us with his scrambling, usually right up the middle. Did we not have anyone "spying" him? Or did we just do it poorly?

No spy.

The last tx was a run play.

On his d rambles we lacked gap integrity

Not every play had a spy. At least that how I saw it.

The game seemed to mirror how Reed was playing. Those 2 interception's at the end of the game were enough to make me want to puke. When Reid is on fire the team just does amazing things.

The defense looked like they were super close to sacking and/or disrupting ARCH over and over. Our CB really played well, but yet Texas was still allowed to score.

Should've had someone on him from start of game. We didn't learn anything from watching tape. Geez

We lack LBs who know how to play gap integrity.

All second half i couldn't understand lbs flying out of the middle of the field on pass plays. Arch sucked when he was pressured. From my viewpoint, Elko was over thinking/getting to fancy with his coverage schemes. Offensively, I have no words on the inability to make adjustments.

It seems to me that as poorly as Arch throws the ball, and with his success running, we would have had someone spying him most the game.

Despite Elko talking about it in the presser, i never saw a spy once. Would have changed the game if we had done that early and stuck with the run. The game plan in general was terrible imo. It's like we decided not to watch film at all.

We did what we always do, especially against mobile QBs. We way over pursued and got out of position.

It's possible we had a designated spy and our LB's executed so poorly we couldn't even tell they were a spy.

The GA vs. tu tape was the key. Pressure Manning into throwing quick and short or get a sack or incomplete pass.

It was disappointing to hear York during the presser being so casual about describing "too many busts" and "missing our fits" as the reasons the defense lost the game. Highlighting those problems after the first few games is understandable, but not having them fixed by game 12 is a black eye for the coaches.

That's why you blitz on third down. Like they've been doing all year. Then there's no time for scrambling. .. Or move around and hit the touchdown throw. Game plan was terrible.

Manning...spying. You think Kevin Sumlin worried about "spying" that Lamar Jackson kid when we played Louisville?

Its wild that we gotta worry about "spying" a Manning. Georgia laid out a Blueprint. We ignored it. We also didnt wana win.

Kirby came out in the 2nd half with the lead kicking onside kicks. We came out trying not to lose while 3&Outing our Offense to death.

On the road, lets take our foot off the breaks and give them all the momentum.

Seemed like any time we brought more than four we would force an incompletion (or sack). But this was rare, and I really don't know why. I would also see Hall drop into coverage on a number of plays where we ended up not pressuring Arch at all.

Finally, for those who keep taking shots at York, he had double digit tackles and some big hits in the backfield as well. The second half scheme was the problem, not him so much.

Hated that we went away from what was working. Arch was hurried, sacked, or forced to throw a crap ball when we sent 4 or more. So, we decided to stop doing that.

Good comment on Reed. He can literally be the best player in CFB when on fire. Wonder how much ankle changed game?

My question for Elko in the press conference would have been why only rush 4 when that was clearly not working.
The t.u. o-line just kept pushing them to each side and creating a gaping hole right up the middle for Manning to bail out.
Play after play.
It's as if Elko just abandoned the blitzes and overloads that he used heavily all season.
Why did Elko abandon our aggressive defense tactics during the most critical game of the season.
