I think GA trucks bama, indi beats Ohio, who cares about the big 12, acc and grp5.

But more than that…earning a berth in the CCG shouldn't be held against them.

Bama, ND, OU, Miami, Utah, Vandy and Virginia 10-2.
That's 15 teams for 10 or 11 spots. No room for any 3 loss team.


The 8 unbeaten or 1 loss teams should make it along with the G5 and ACC champs and 2'of the 2 loss teams. I'm guessing ND and Bama meaning ou is out. Unless ou makes it over BYU. If BYU beats tech in the Big 12 title game ou or maybe tech are in serious trouble.

Tech and BYU is an elimination game - make no mistake there. If Tech loses they are not getting an at large.

It will depend on how the other games go.

If byu were to beat tech, would tech get in over a three loss bama?

If Duke beats Virginia (lol), would 3 loss bama be out to 2 loss miami or nd?

That's not how it works though

5 highest ranked conference champs

Let's assume that uga, tech, Virginia, osu and Tulane all take care of business

That's 7 spots for oregon, Ole miss, tamu, ou, bama, notre dame, miami, byu, Vanderbilt, and utah

Oregon, Ole miss, tamu, ou are likely in

That's 3 spots for bama, ND, miami, byu, vandy or utah

With all this chaos it goes further to show that sips are delusional to think they are getting in. Vandy and their heisman hopefull have a better chance with only 2 losses.

Rooting for Vandy (unless they play us)

So it's 10-2 Virginia vs 7-5 Duke for the ACC title and seed 11 in the CFP. Smu lost to Cal. Bama might need to beat Georgia in the SEC title game to edge ou for the last spot. I think 7 spots with the 12 and 11 win teams are locked down except 11-1 BYU. That only leaves 3 spots for ou, bama, ND, Miami, Utah, Vandy and BYU. That's a lot of teams for 3 loss tu or Michigan to pass with no games left.

If Duke wins, the acc isnt guaranteed a spot.

It'd likely propel james Madison into an auto bid

And ou is in. Uga, Ole miss, tamu, and ou are for sure in for the sec, bama is likely in.

I predict we will play either the G5 team or the ACC champ game winner at Kyle field.

You're not gonna get punished for advancing to confrence chanpionship game
May fall a spot or 2 in rankings but you're not gonna drop out of the playoff, unless you get completly blown out and even then it's iffy to drop out .

I think the Tuesday night top 10 projected to make it are:
1 Ohio st
2 Indiana
3 Georgia
4 Tech
5. Oregon
6 Texas Aggies
7 Ole Miss
8. Ou
9. ND
10 Alabama

If byu beats tech and Bama beats Ga again, either ou or ND is out and byu moves in at 10, and some other possible shifts. But a home game against Virginia or Duke appears to be our next game. 6 vs 11.

Duke isnt getting in. They aren't ranked in any poll anywhere. It would be james madison

We aren't falling to 10th. Everyone else in front of Bama won. So they are going into next week holding the last playoff spot.

So they might be out with a loss. But they are bama so maybe not?

They're 7-5 with some horrible losses. Dont think they'll get ranked.

James Madison is in the top 25 of both the ap and coaches poll
Tulane and north texas are ranked in the cfp poll

Mountain west has teams receiving votes.

Duke wins and only miami would potentially make it from the acc

If Duke wins and JMI or another G5 team makes it instead of the ACC Champ, I don't see Miami getting in now unless ND, Bama or ou is out. All have 2 losses like Miami. But with only 10 spots.

This trope is getting nauseating…
The guy can't go from here to the bathroom without getting hurt. Thinking Moss is some 'game-changer' is ridiculous. If Reed can't figure out who to throw to in our next game, it won't matter WHO the RB is.
