From a physical perspective, has elko maximized what we can get out of current talent, especially on the defensive side of the ball?

many times the NFL draft tells the tale

how many 1st, 2nd, or 3rd round picks are on the defense?

I'm not sure he has maximized it, but he's pretty close. There's no doubt we are undertalented across most of our defense compared to sip, UGA, Bama, and several others in our conference.

Maximized what we have in the Secondary and Dline

Honestly, could probably play the Frosh LB and Lockhart and have better results, Scooby excluded.

That's kind of what I was thinking.

Yes….. we aren't as good/talented as the record shows…. Got lucky with a weak schedule…. And the coaches maximized the best they could get out of this bunch IMO
I do think we have smarter players than in years past and compared to most of our opponents (especially LSU) and that helped maximize the talent

I think Elko and moffit have squeezed the most out of these guys that they could

That's why I don't want to face UGA or Ohio st in the second round do getting the 6 seed would be very beneficial

I think we would for sure dominate the lines on both sides vs g5 or acc champ and I think we could win them vs Indiana, but I think UGA and Ohio st could give us some problems up front

We could matchup with the rest of the field

We are good enough to beat any of these teams if we play 4 quarters. Let's hope Lane Kiffin's decision causes a 1 loss Ole Miss to drop to 7 and the lack of respect the Committee has for TT and the Big 12 (leaving out 11-1 BYU) drops them to 6 and the Aggies and Oregon are 4/5 or 5/4.
