Stewade posted a graphic with a similar comparison last night. Maybe someone else can dig that up.

According to resume, it's obvious we are the best 1 loss team. But recency bias is a real thing.

I just wish the committee would go off of SOR and SOS like they said they would. If you do that, we are the best 1 loss behind UGA

Not sure yall really read or understood the OP. accordng to that, it looks like we are definitely not the best, or even 2nd or 3rd best of the 1-loss teams.

I mean, there will be another one loss team on the way at the end championship weekend. Being the 4th or 5th best one loss team is fine.

Just don't wanna be #7.

Probably 2nd or 3rd best 1 loss - just based on this data. I would put Georgia ahead of us and at best we are neck & neck with Ole Miss. Their loss to Georgia is better than our loss to Texas, but their Tulane win probably not as good as our Missouri win even though Tulane is ranked ahead of Missouri.

I will say however, that even though we played most of the bottom half of the SEC teams, I would put those wins ahead of most wins from the bottom half of the Big 12 and even Big 10.

Right now Georgia and Ole Miss have better resumes than us as one loss teams. Like the above poster said if we can get a #6 seed or higher i would be happy. The love affair with Oregon doesn't make any sense. Their best win is USC and got beat by 10 at home to Indiana. Also took overtime to beat Penn State and barely beat Iowa.

My top ten would be

Ohio State
Indiana
Georgia
Ole Miss
Texas A&M
Notre Dame
Texas Tech
Oklahoma
Oregon
Alabama

I think you are assuming a two loss team doesn't jump us. That's a real possibility. There is no way we finish ahead of the B10 champ loser. Do we get passed if Bama wins the SEC championship game? Seems like we should.

If we get passed by Alabama then I do want the 8 seed against a Oklahoma team instead of a possible rematch with Notre Dame as the 10 seed if we are #7. Better first round, but would play Ohio State in quarters. With the way our run defense is playing now I want no part of Notre Dame.

To add, compare opponent's records and I'll include both 12-0 teams. All 10 teams played 1 FCS team which is NOT included.
