I asked CoPilot to tell me the likely results of the 2025 Aggie Football schedule if Jimbo were still the coach, factoring in transfer portal, likely starters under Jimbo, likely offensive and defensive schemes, and without Elko on staff. I included a variety of sources for the prompt, and the results were as follows:

Projected 2025 game-by-game scores with Jimbo Fisher as the head coach, 2023-level defense, and players like Noah Thomas starting vs KC/Craver.

UTSA - Win - 27-20
Utah State - Win - 28-17
ND - Loss - 27-20
Auburn - Win 23-20
MS State - Win 24-17
Florida - Loss - 24-21
Arkansas - Loss - 27-24
LSU - Loss 31-30
Mizzou - Win - 21-20
USC - Win - 24-20
Samford - Win - 34-10
tu - Loss - 27-20

Projected 7-5 - With Jimbo's offense running more, throwing less, less explosive downfield, and giving up ~ 28 points per game against quality opponents.

More 3rd and medium situations, lower red-zone conversions, and less margin to overcome defensive lapses. Florida and Arkansas become coin flips... could be 8-4, or 9-3, but likely outcome was 7-5.

FWIW, IMO the tu game was the only one that I thought Elko coached poorly (as both head and DC), and Ags lost by 10 points. So, that's the only one that I think Ags might have had a better outcome with Jimbo, assuming he delegated OC. That said, I think the change to Elko was a big improvement and I'm optimistic for the future.
