Yes, unfair. Recency bias and flipping the narrative to what suits them vs who has the better resume. We have the better resume BEFORE coaching changes which is a metric they specifically call out in the bylaws of the committee.

IF we had won.. we'd be 3 with a chance to be #2.

My god the whining on this board about the "unfairness" of the rankings based on poster's personal opinions and eyetests is just laughable. Do you not think that every other fanbase has the same about their ranking and can likely provide just as much evidence to back up their argument?

The above poster is 100% correct. Just go out and win the game instead of sh***ing the bed and we wouldn't sound like a bunch of babies whining about "fairness".

If one eye test is unassailable, then of course so is any time there is one. Committee is playing with fire and will get burned.

I'd guess he will stick around for the playoffs. Kentucky can afford wait and he can get more publicity during a playoff run rather than disappearing into the Kentucky landscape

Think that's a good hire by UK, but time will tell if he can recruit.

We lost and it's a major eff up by coaches and team...looked ill prepared, not ready for the moment and probably think we are better than we are....we will pay the consequences.

We've also looked like a crap team for 1/2 vs USCe and mediocre in some other games. The committee has been putting us at 3 all along with supposedly a better SOS and SOR due to the 'eye test' and therefore we just poked both eyes out with an absolute crap performance offensively, defensively and ST (all 3 phases were awful).
