I can hear the excuses already when they lose to Michigan. The team was too disappointed to be left out of the playoffs to go to a consolation bowl.

Texas Bowl ticket prices have plummeted. They now start at $110 each for two tickets. That price was over $300 this weekend.

LOL. Unless the Texas Bowl has a team in it that has a sizeable alumni base living close by, they have a hard time selling the tickets.

Now that we are actually IN the playoffs, it really stresses just how meaningless all the other bowl games are

The bowl games used to be fun when that's what everyone was doing, but with the playoffs here the bowls have taken on an NIT feel to them

It's inevitable that the playoffs expand to at least 16

Should be going to the Dukes Mayo Bowl. But tu winning and the shenanigans that go with that fulfill some of the sips weird fetishes.

While I would have liked to beat TU it wasn't the worst thing in the world since we would have to play the same amount of games if we did win. Either play in a conference championship or play the first round of the playoffs.

Think the bowl games and conference championships needs to be adjusted. Just a matter of how and when.

Except if we would have played and lost, we would also have played a first round game most likely.
