When you have your "bottom dweller" teams full of nfl caliber talent pushing your top teams to the limit and banging everyone up, youre going to have a lot of 9-10 win teams that wouldve cleaned up in the bigten/12/acc. Then you get heavily penalized for a loss (us) because you had the weakest sec schedule.... which was still stronger than any big ten or big 12 schedule

We got 5 teams in. We're currently ranked the 3rd best. Not sure what you're complaining about. When it goes to 16 teams, likely getting a couple more too.

Our schedule is selectively getting called out, which is incredibly unfair. Ole miss didnt play a good OOC opponent. Oregon and tech have played no one, and the "ranked" teams they beat dont match the talent of miss st or scar

Obviously not a fan of the football team so I stick with my statement ... Your statement aims to disparage without recognizing teams above us with terrible losses. Why is 25 the mark. Let's go with just top 10 wins on the road and we will have much clearer picture.

And for the record im not questioning any degree and the subject of this thread is dumb because no one in the SEC gives a **** about us. But your statement without any other context does a huge disservice to this football team.

Are you arguing that the preseason rankings should carry weight now? Or that those teams were actually all really good?

Indiana has one less loss than us. A better win (Oregon vs Notre Dame). A better 2nd win (Iowa vs Missouri). A better 3rd win (Illinois vs LSU). A better 4th win (Penn State vs Auburn) .

Oregon has a better loss than us. But we DO have the better win. Oregon's 2nd best win better than ours (again Iowa vs Missour). Oregon's third best win is better than ours (Washington vs LSU). Oregon's 4th best win is better than ours (Minnesota vs take your pick amongst the garbage; let's go with Auburn). Oregon's 5th best win is better than ours (Northwestern vs again whoever you want).

Ole Miss and us are VERY close. But if the committee thinks Oklahoma is better than Notre Dame and since Georgia beat the sips by 25, then what case do we really have.

You'd be making a truly outlying case to argue that EVERY team is misranked just to keep us down. Or make some convenient case with composite talent; at that point why even play the games.

The issue isn't that we're misranked. The issue is that YOU don't think we're actually good. Because if we did, you'd welcome a home game against a good opponent. Win and all this goes away.

Some of you acting like we've already lost the game. If we do play ND, we get them at Kyle. We already beat them in South Bend. We played them close last year at Kyle with a much worse offense. I think ND may have been better last year than this year. We can beat them.
