The committee actually got the cajones to set up ND, who btw is probably a national title contender right now, to be dropped out if chaos happened this weekend. They won't drop the SEC title game teams no matter what. ND might finally get punished for not having a conference.

They also showed ND a clear path to the playoffs every year. Join the B12. Play a cream puff non-conference schedule. Only slip up against 1 bad team and get a first round bye in the playoffs by winning the conference championship against a team that would have a losing record in the B10 or SEC. ND would be fools not to follow their lead.

I hope they do get dropped because I think they are actually good enough this year to beat everyone, including us, and win it.

That would be a turn around precedent since they didn't penalize SMU for losing a conference championship game last year. If Bama is out then Notre Dame moves to 9 and Miami gets in at 10 if BYU loses

Slippery slope. You start penalizing conference champ losers they'll stop playing in the games.

The very reason for moving Bama to 9 was saying "we ain't docking you for losing the SECC game". Bama loses and they are 9 or 10 depending on big 12
