If Bama wins they'll jump us and we go to 8, OU to 9. If Bama loses, they'll drop a spot to 10.

The committee moved Bama up to 9 so they could drop them back to 10 if they lose.

We're either going to play Bama or OU.

My prediction on final rankings:

1. Ohio St
2. UGA
3. Indiana
4. Tech
5. Oregon
6. Ole Miss
7. Ags
8. OU
9. ND
10. Bama
11. UVA
12. Tulane

Doesn't really matter. Have to beat a really solid team or be one and done

I tend to agree

Bama will drop back to #10 if they lose -- and two rematches will be avoided

What if Bama and BYU win?

They better drop T Tech below us.

that would be wild

in a year where the Ags had to play in Austin, Baton Rouge, and Fayetteville...

go ahead and throw Lubbock in there too

revisit all of the tough places for A&M to play in the last 50 years

you think the committee will drop Bama to 10 and send them to Kyle Field..with a rematch with Georgia in the next round should they beat the Ags.
I dont see the committee setting up a scenario for Bama and Georgia to possibly meet for the 3rd time this season unless its semifinals or champ game

It would be a rubber match

Are you saying people wouldn't watch that??

I think Miami not completely out yet.

This is an extremely interesting point. I agree with the comment above though above a "rubber match". Surely you move back to 10 with your 3rd loss regardless of it being in the championship game. It would put a bad stamp on their big win against them earlier…

I would think they want rematches in the first round of the playoff. Maybe second round definitely third

I am shocked OLE MISS didn't drop a spot honestly. Committee had the ability to use the FSU scenario in regards to coaches bolting and didn't do it.

I have to believe the committee made something up to flip Bama ahead of ND to protect Bama in case of defeat. If they're at 10 and lose, they may have to fall out and bring Miami in which would start a huge cluster for them. If you put Bama at 9 this week, you can simply flip them back and tell the world you are punishing them very slightly.

100.

They will put sec vs sec whenever they can so things don't possible get exposed.
