Is there any info out there that talks about what teams are spending on freshmen vs transfers? What's the best strategy? I would probably get 13-15 freshmen, then fill in with proven upperclassmen

I am sure each situation is judged independently but I would look heavily into the portal for both lines and more at HS for skill guys.

yes i do. follow up question have any of the changes they have made to college football over the last few years actually improved the sport? from a fan perspective/ the paying customer.

About half the starters are from the portal so it seems they should get about half the budget. BTW, half the starters from the portal is typical in the SEC.
