As portal recruiting ramps up, I thought I would show projections for next year's team based on classification Senior/Junior - Sophomore/Freshman. It assumes Concepcion and Bisontis will declare early. It doesn't show any of our transfer outs which aren't yet known.

We are light on upperclassmen in most positions but OL is the most obvious.

As Elko said, he will need to use the portal this year to plug remaining holes but next year should see improvement as his first full recruiting class matures.

We do have a big back log of freshman that redshirted. But have a pretty good set of players that will be entering their 3rd year in Elkos program.

Agree. Note 4 OL will be redshirt sophomores next year.

There is another thread about getting a WR from the portal. I suppose if the player is another KC, yes, but I don't think WR is needed as much as OL, TE, DL, S, and RB.
